A Multi-Method Passive Monitoring Approach for the Grenada Dove

This initiative combines passive acoustic monitoring, camera traps, and microclimate sensors to better understand the distribution, behavior, and habitat use of the Grenada Dove across key habitats. A complementary community-based monitoring component expands data collection beyond protected areas while engaging local stakeholders in conservation. By integrating multiple monitoring methods, the project aims to improve species detection, evaluate habitat conditions, strengthen long-term monitoring, and provide scientific evidence to guide conservation management and recovery efforts.
