Campus Acoustic Monitoring Project for Urban Sustainability (CAMPUS)

The Campus Acoustic Monitoring Project for Urban Sustainability (CAMPUS) brings together the Grenada research team to investigate urban biodiversity using passive acoustic monitoring. By deploying acoustic recorders across campus and surrounding communities, the project examines how sound can be used to monitor wildlife, understand urban ecosystems, and support sustainable city planning. As part of an international research collaboration, the Grenada team is contributing locally collected data while gaining hands-on experience with emerging bioacoustic technologies, standardized monitoring protocols, and collaborative conservation research.
